Scams, rise in price has left no option for a common man

Why do we elect a government? Why do we give preference to a particular political party ahead of other political parties? The answer lies to the fact that, we often trust our elected government thinking of the fact, that they will provide us with all the beneficial facilities along with the finest public service keep in mind the requirements of the general public irrespective of all classes.

On the contrary, the real fact holds some other truth. The government is not interested to serve their public’s interest but have keen concern towards their own private interest. The present Congress government has put India into shame with its endless scams right from Common Wealth Games, 2G Scams and now recently added Coalgate Scam. In the record of Indian history, no other government has registered its name in the sprawling brawls as the present government has done.

CWG has become a history now, as there have been entries of some more new scams. The latest to discuss is Coalgate Scam where coal was allocated to various coal companies without proper procedure of bidding. The latest reports suggest that most of the coal was allocated to union ministers relatives including those who had their companies running for merely 2- 3 days.

The plight of people does not end here. A recent announcement by the government of cutting down the subsidies on LPG gas and only allowing subsidies on 6 LPG gas per year has made the common man more anxious.

Innumerable strikes, Anna Hazzare‘s anti – corruption act does not have any effect on the government as they believe in extracting large amount of money from the public as they them self know that  that they have minimal chance of winning the next 2014 elections.

Maruti’s Manesar Plant, all set for its arrival

After the most dreadful violence which took place almost a month back, The Maruti’s Manesar Plant  is once again ready to make a comeback  along with the high security measures at their premises. After suffering a loss of more than 1,400 crore, Maruti’s Manesar Plant, regenerate itself  on 21st August,  after the horrendous act.

The grim situation prevailed in July 2012 when a brawl occurred between high officials of the company and the workers. This led everyone in great astonishment. The circumstances of this violence led to the death of a senior manager, while 100 others were injured.

The Maruti’s Manesar Plant manufactures Swift hatchbacks and Dezire Sedane. Looking at the previous situation, the company has decided to sack 500 labours out of the current 1500 regular workers who were involved in this violent act. The chairman of the company Mr. Bhagara said, as further investigation takes place, more workers who were involved in this act will come under scanner  and will be fired immediately.

The company will start its production with the help of 300 labours and cutting down the target to 150 cars against the normal production of 1700 per day.

Along with the help of the Haryana police, the company has also raised its security level by stationing their own 500 security personals who will command all over the Manesar Plant to avoid any attempt who are planning  to lace the situation in a terrible way.

The Channel of India fights back

There is towering amount of antagonism running through the minds of millions of people who have been burdened by the rising hikes and unnecessary taxes incorporated by the corrupt political parties. The common man is left with no option but to put up with this burden.

In between all this turmoil’s a new wave of movement was started yet again in 2012 by the well- known Mahatma Gandhi’s follower Shri Anna Hazare. Once again he became the channel of millions of people who needed his support to fight back against corruption.

Like always there is criticism to any new movement and this time even Anna ji was not spared. He was criticized by his contemporaries but this did not stop him to carry the movement forward. He has been thoroughly supported by all Indians right from the beginning of his fight against corruption. But the same could not be seen this time at Jantar Mantar which again raises a debatable question. Have people stopped trusting Anna or has he failed to pull the crowd towards his movement.

Yet again, Anna ji started his infinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar. The 10 days long hunger strike did not pay any heed  to the Government as they  remained unanswered to the call of Hazare to pass the Lok Pal Bill ( the bill which  not fully but to some extent will eradicate corruption).

Further this movement also makes it very certain that the government is not ashamed of its acts and has come openly to show their horrendous faces.  Later, Anna and his team were left with no option but to put an end to their strike and at the same time declaring to set up a new political party to stand for the next 2014 elections.

Anna ji stated that, instead of himself, he wants his team members to put their right foot forward and while Hazare will work as a backbone for his members. Now, it is for the time to tell that which new cards will unfold in the future.

Up The Hill, Up in The Heaven !!!!

The hustle-bustle in the crowded city, the scorching  heat and humid climate and the everyday work routine makes you realize that you need  to take a break from all these bustle  for sometime. Even, I was looking for some respite, so I headed  towards a short vacation to Mussoorie-The Queen of Hills. Indeed the name justifies itself. Once you reach this hill-station, you will surely fall in love with this place.

The fresh, non-pollutant air, the calm ambiance and the chirping of the birds (as if they have come to wish you Good Morning) makes you think that all these things you can hardly find in a city. Well moving on, my 3 days unforgettable journey to Mussoorie was simply a reprieve which I had been missing for prolonged 3 years.

My day usually began with a hot cup of tea which I used to enjoy with the sightseeing of the beautiful mountains. Then, walking the endless mall road and walking up and downward the hills was a routine which continued through out my vacation.

The eating of hot Corn which we also refer as 'Bhutta' was just an add-on to feel refreshed in this peace-loving hill. Not to forget I was reliving my hidden dream of riding a Motorcycle though in form of a video game but if you would have noticed my expressions, you could have felt that as if I am  driving to win the championship of the motor cycle racing.

Undoubtedly, the impact of Global Warming is showing its effects even in the hill station as well and I fear in another few years the hill stations will loose its charm and everyone will prefer to prepare its vacations in abroad. Well, I just believe that my fear does not turn into reality and our coming generation keeps on visiting this natural beauty.
